Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of timberfloorquotes.com.au, whether you are a homeowner requesting quotes or an installer buying leads.
1. Our role
TimberFloorQuotes is an introduction platform. We collect project briefs from homeowners and make them available to professional flooring installers. We are not a builder or flooring contractor, we do not perform the work, and we are not a party to any contract you enter into with an installer or a homeowner.
2. Homeowners
- Submitting a project is free and places you under no obligation to accept any quote.
- You must provide accurate project and contact details so installers can quote properly.
- By submitting, you agree that installers who unlock your lead may contact you about your project.
- Quotes, pricing estimates and cost ranges shown on this site are indicative only and are not offers.
3. Installer accounts
- Accounts are for Australian flooring businesses. You are responsible for your login credentials and all activity under your account.
- You must hold any licences and insurances required in your state for the work you quote.
- You may only use homeowner contact details to quote on that specific project. Reselling, bulk-marketing or adding homeowners to mailing lists is prohibited and will result in account termination.
4. Credits, payments and unlocks
- Leads are purchased with wallet credits. Credit packs are bought upfront through our payment provider, and any bonus credits are shown at checkout before you pay.
- Unlocking a lead deducts its credit price from your wallet and reveals the homeowner's contact details and attachments. Each lead is capped at a limited number of unlocks.
- Credits have no cash value, are not transferable between accounts, and are not redeemable for cash.
- All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable.
5. Refunds
Unused credit balances are generally non-refundable. We will credit your wallet back for a lead where the contact details are invalid or unreachable, the enquiry is duplicated, or the homeowner did not in fact request quotes. Report the issue within 7 days of unlocking and we will review it. This does not limit any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
6. Acceptable use
Do not submit false or spam enquiries, scrape or copy lead data, attempt to bypass the unlock paywall, or interfere with the security of the platform. We may suspend or remove any account or listing that breaches these terms.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the quality, timing, pricing or outcome of any work performed by an installer, or for any loss arising from a lead not converting into a job. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised version. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
